Living in “the Napa Valley of Beer” like we do, we’ve got an embarrassment of riches when it comes to beer. There’s something for everyone, locally made and delicious. We’ve got a number of local beers that we’d like to introduce you to on our new bar menu and Mondays are a great time to get to know them: we’ve got $2 pints all day Monday at Tupelo Honey!
Summer is the pefect time for a pils: a pale lager with a stong hoppy aroma. We’re fans of the Czech-style pilsner made Brevard brewery Oskar Blues, Mama’s Little Yella Pils. Made with 100 percent pale malt, German specialty malts and Saaz hops (a “noble” hop), it’s relatively low alcohol, but still packs a deep flavor. Mama’s Little Yella Pils goes great with light summer dishes such as seafood (think Salmon with succotash from our new seasonal menu). In fact, some call it “the Pinot Grigio of Beer.”
We’ve got Mama’s Little Yella Pils on draft. Did we mention its $2 for pints today? Treat yourself to this refreshing beer with lunch or dinner. At that price, treat a friend to one, too!
