Who We Are

We are rooted in the Mountain South and believe in delivering Southern cuisine that is honest, fresh, scratch-made, and creative. Our food and drink also reflect the New South and the culinary influence of new Southerners who are bringing their distinctive cuisines to our region.

We are committed to respectful, hospitable service to our guests, to our fellow employees and to our communities.

Being a good neighbor has always been a core tenet of Tupelo Honey’s vision. We have donated over 10,000 service hours to our team members’ volunteer efforts within their cities.

We believe great food, great people, and great workplaces not only build winning companies but also create better communities.

Our Core Values

Tupelo Honey’s success depends on our people. Our restaurants can only prosper and provide opportunities for employment and growth when we continually improve ourselves and the work we do.

We recognize, however, that our success is not measured by sales, guest counts, and numbers alone. We are measured as much by the way in which we achieve our goals, as we are by the actual achievements themselves.

We believe that a commitment to uncompromising values and integrity should always guide our decisions and actions as we pursue our goals. The following are the core values that form the foundation of our measurement of success:

  1. Be One Team, Share One Purpose
  2. Have a Heart for Serving
  3. Do Everything with Integrity
  4. Embrace Opportunity
  5. Encourage Forward Thinking
  6. Celebrate!

It is Tupelo Honey’s policy to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and guests, so they may feel respected, seen and heard. Biscuits for a Cause

Employee Relief Fund

Our famous buttermilk biscuits are not only delicious – they help support our team members!

We started our Tupelo Honey Employee Relief Fund (E.R.F.) at the start of the pandemic to help provide additional support to team members facing unexpected financial hardships.

To date, we have dispersed over $500,000 to Tupelo employees in need!

Project Aspire

Project ASPIRE

We formed Project ASPIRE, our diversity and inclusion program, in the fall of 2020.

The program is designed to elevate BIPOC and female members of our management team. Members participate in open & honest panel discussions about their unique experiences working at Tupelo Honey, which helps us discover where to focus our efforts in fostering an inclusive environment for all.

In addition, those team member receive 30+ hours of additional management training throughout the year.

Our inaugural year of this program and has been a huge success, with 4 out of 6 participants already promoted.

We plan to expand this program in 2022 by adding 2 groups into the mix, affording them best in class DE&I trainings, as well as personal coaching for growth.
