Tupelo Honey Margarita Recipe
The only thing in this Tupelo Honey recipe that isn’t made in house is the tequila. If we could, we’d make our own mezcal, too, but for this cocktail, we prefer silver tequila. The honey liqueur in this recipe is great by itself, but it also adds a delicious layer of flavor to the margarita without being overly sweet. If you like a sweeter margarita, just add more honey liqueur!
Directions
Rim two old-fashioned glasses using Simple Syrup and Chili Salt, and fill with cubed ice. Fill a shaker with cubed ice, and then add the tequila, liqueur, and sweet & sour mix. Shake well and strain over ice in the glasses. Garnish each drink with a lime wedge.
