Western North Carolina communities, where our company was founded, have been devastated by Hurricane Helene. The storm not only caused unimaginable damage but tragic loss of life. Our hearts are with our grieving neighbors. We are here for you and share your tears.
The level of destruction from this storm was unexpected and sudden as floodwaters became rapids through our city. Landslides and road collapses have blocked almost every point of access to the area, including I-40, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and I-26 coming from the north. Flooding of the French Broad and Swannanoa Rivers swept away entire towns and permanently damaged the infrastructure of others. Asheville’s beloved River Arts District was completely submerged for days. Severe power line damage and thousands of downed trees have isolated entire communities from getting aid. Resources are still needed and you can help us do just that.
Our Asheville corporate and store team members have been working hard to provide for their WNC community. We are finding ways to offer food and momentary shelter for free to WNC residents, and support to our team members in need through emergency funds. Organizations in and around Asheville are sending aid and lending a hand, but they need more support.
Please help us provide them with more aid! Consider donating using the buttons below.
Donate to our Tupelo Honey Disaster Relief Fund to help us continue to offer free hot meals to our community. Any excess will be distributed to the three charities listed below.
Thank you & stay safe.
